Default Boat and Car Show in Wolfeboro

There was a really great boat and car show in Wolfeboro today. The early morning fog was very thick, but about 8:15 AM the fog lifted, and a bunch of boats were hanging around the Broads waiting to enter Wolfeboro Bay. The recently arrived 48 foot "Gypsy" sort of led the pack since she had Garmin navigation equipment. There were many really fine-looking crafts at the docks, and, in the adjacent parking lot was a wide array of classic cars, including a pristine Duesenberg and several Corvettes and other fine looking restored Chevys and others. The DJ kept up a never-ending flow of 1950s music, and Hot Dog Bob was ready to satisfy your appetite. Besides providing the display of really nice boats and cars, the owners of these boats and cars were more than willing to talk with spectators explaining all the nuts and bolts necessary to own a boat or a vehicle of this caliber.
A great big THANKS to all the participants for putting on a great show.

That explains the Gypsy cruising down the Broads around 7:30 this AM past LSP at about 45 degrees!!! My 5 yo son saw it first and grabbed is binoculars to get a better look. He loves wooden boats and had a blast today at the steam boats.
At LSP Santa comes on Labor Day, got brought by Miss Winnipesaukee boat and went up to our Pavilion. all the kids ran to follow him, mine, wanted to watch the Miss Winnipesaukee cruise away.
Good taste!!
