Default Sandy Point railroad pictures wanted

We need to discuss original lake access rights with the state. Any pictures of the railway, now Rt 11, leading from the landmark Alton Bay station northbound would be great. Photos from the water that show existing docks or access pathways are ideal. The neighborhood is digging through old collections, perhaps you have some as well. Much thanks if you can look and find something.

Apologies in advance. Forgive me if I'm way off base on this. Seems weird that you signed up 6 and one half years ago and made your first post just a few days ago. Odd that rather than wanting to discuss the railroad history with the general forum membership you want to talk with the state.

Again apologies in advance but I can't help but think there is more to your post. "original lake access rights with the state" what could or does that mean? Are you looking for evidence.

Heard a rumor the state wants to take back over their property on the sandy point side of the road and remove all the docks and boat houses as they are actually on state owned land.

Again on chatter Iíve heard around town.
