Smile New Restaurants in Wolfeboro area?

We have been coming to Wolfeboro on vacation for over 40 years, we've always enjoyed dining out every night. Are there any new restaurants that have opened since last year?

Jo Green's is now Marker 21. Everything new, but same great view of docks and lake.

Default Back Bay Boathouse

The proprietors are the Full Belli folks, who have taken over the restaurant at 51 Mill Street. Outside and indoor dining. We haven't been there yet but have heard good things from others.

Also, La Boca expects to start outdoor dining soon. We enjoyed their takeout dinners & accompaniments, which they've recently expanded, since last summer:

Default Wolfeboro Restaurants

Just the other day, the Wolfeboro location of the Farmers Kitchen closed due to a combination of factors; however, there is a sign on the front door announcing the "coming soon" of The Bay Diner. Several restaurants have struggled in that location, but there have also been several very successful restaurants there. Best of luck to the new owner/operator.

Susie and John Hutchins are opening the Bay Diner there, very soon, like in a week. You are right, it's tough because it has so few tables but the Farmer's Kitchen always had a line as have many other restaurants in that location, so I hope it works for them.

Yes, the grand opening of the Bay Diner has been posted in the window and will officially opening on Saturday, June 4th, 2022.

Let's hope they can put out a meal like the previous owners, and have a very successful operation.............

There's two places going in on main st a couple of doors down from Downtown Grille. One had a big hole cut in the front wall and was in the proccess of installing a big green-tiled dome pizza oven. I think that one was called LocalBowls or something like that, seemed to be pizza/salad/sandwiches. The place on the corner just had signs up for "Wicked Loon", no idea if that's food, a microbrewery, or stuffed animals. As others have mentioned, Marker 21 is upstairs from those, in the former Jo Green's space.

Ah, here it is...both owned by "Peter Ford" apparently, both are restaurants.

"LocalTopia", and "Wicked Loon"

Default Nolan's and Cider Press

Rumor has it that both Nolan's and the Cider Press Restaurants have been sold, and the new owner will be taking over sometime later this month.

Supposedly the same individual is buying both locations and I have no idea what changes (if any) are planned.

If anyone has further concrete information please feel free to provide everyone an update.

Default Coming this summer '22, Two New Wolfeboro Restaurants

Hello Fellow Lakers,

We wanted to introduce ourselves and tell you a little bit about us. We have 2 unique concepts, The Wicked Loon and Local Topia, sharing the first floor of the Old Jo Green's building at 27 S Main St Wolfeboro right at the town docks. https://goo.gl/maps/W9BVXzNETQUfmgjg8

At The Wicked Loon we live for the fresh, craft the cocktails, stay true to the brew, and honor the vine. Our boat is driven by locals, our dream to provide a wicked cool environment where locals and visitors alike can eat, drink and be merry has come alive with our casual upscale restaurant. Expect good music, ice cold beer, fine wine, exceptional food, real people, and lots of laughs as you witness the docking gone wild on Lake Winnipesaukee from a front row seat on our waterfront deck.

At Local Topia we put our ingredients first by locally sourcing what we can, choosing only the freshest fruits, veggies and proteins and serving them up fresh for you, by you just as fast as you can point your finger. We believe that healthy food promotes a healthy body resulting in a happy person. We are changing the fast-food industry by making good food fast and available to a wide variety of the community’s taste buds and needs. Our approach to your custom designed bowl is perfect for on the go, order ahead or dine in needs. All our ingredients are prepared with love daily in house, always fresh, always wholesome. Our flatbreads are as close to paradise as you can get from a culinary perspective of course! Hand kneaded dough, always prepared to order in our stone fire oven glowing right in front of you.

We have an amazing group of local contractors diligently working with plans to open in July 2022. We could not be more excited about joining the community. Please check out our websites for more information.

Default Full Belly Deli

We went by boat to Wolfeboro Friday and picked up a cheese steak at the Full Belly Deli and brought it across the street to the Lone Wolf Brewery where we ate inside with a cold beer. Best lunch in a long time. The cheese steak had mushrooms onions and peppers with provolone cheese. Great quality steak and absolutely delicious. The Lone Wolf Brewery had an extensive choice of great beers, and the owner working the bar was good company. Can't wait to do it again!

Default Lone Wolfe

So, Lone Wolfe sound OK with guests bringing food in? Most food service operations don't want you to bring in food from elsewhere. Good to know that the owner is comfortable with it.
