Excellent! This could be a significant project to preserve the castle. I looked into this years ago and thought it was a legal mess, I am glad the Starkeys have pushed through all of that.

Probably a little of topic, but with the recent sale of the Baher estate that was/is kinda a castle in itself and the mysterious buyer that just purchased the
Searles Castle in Windham NH for $3.4 million including some property around the castle, it seems everyone wants a castle these days.

No doubt building from scratch on that location would be less expensive than renovating the castle. However the history and the mystique of the castle might make for an attraction that new construction can't match.

With surrounding trees cut to open up the prior expansive view of the lake and the grounds restored, it could have a lot of potential. Maybe unmatched anywhere else on the lake.
