I used him for whole house interior. My brother just used him to stain the outside of his house. Excellent work, Very clean and honest estimates.

Smile Exterior House Painter

Not intending to hi-jack this thread nor to throw any dispersion on the two recommendations that have been made. I just want relate a humorous event that happened to me back in 2004 when I was looking to have our log home stained with a clear wood finish.

A forum thread was opened asking for recommendations for a house painter. Almost immediately there was a glowing recommendation posted for just such a person. If I recall correctly the recommendation was seconded by one or two other posters. Based on this I picked up the phone, made an appointment, and soon had an estimate for what I wanted done. Everything seemed more than reasonable and I decided to proceed from there.

The two painters / partners did excellent work and accomplished everything that they said they would do. I was more than satisfied with the quality of their work and knew that I had made the right decision to proceed.

Sometime during the process, for whatever the reason, I happened to glance at the forum recommendations again. What I discovered, after doing a little more research, was that the person asking for the recommendation, and the person making the recommendation, were in fact the two painters themselves. The person or persons seconding the recommendation was somehow related. I mentioned it to them and we all got a big laugh from it.
