Default Wind / Ice

If anyone has ever wondered how dock damage occurs during ice out, here's one way. This is a video clip I just made at my camp, watch the ice sheets move around especially between the docks. Last year for the first time in 8 years everyone of those 4"x6" dock posts were snapped like a toothpick from the ice moving. While the wind today is blowing in the right direction, it's blowing so hard the ice is shifting back and forth as can be seen and I will probably get more damage this year since the wind isn't expected to stop for another couple days... Keeping my fingers crossed!
