Default Anyone Remember Chicken Island?

Grew up in Glidden Cove. On the west end of the Cove, near Rollins Road, is a few trees and boulders elevated above the lake that goes as an island. When we were young, there was a sort of rule that any child who wanted to swim without a life jacket had to be able to swim from one of the docks/boathouses on the southeast side to the island without a life jacket. A parent would be in a pram, towing a life jacket in front of the swimmer just in case they needed it. Often times several kids from the area would join in the swim. Sort of like a right of passage.

I don't know if that little island has a name, but everyone in that cove knew it as Chicken Island. Anyone remember that?
