Default Anyone else on rattlesnake seeing this?

In the broads, a boat towing a tube in pretty good choppy water at 8:30 pm with little kids getting tossed into the water. And only a bow light on.

I can't believe what I'm seeing.

At least they were using a reflective orange flag to signal the tubbers. ;-)

Default We saw it too!

We saw it too while sitting on the deck after dinner. When we saw it, the time was about 8:40 on a night that the sunset at 8:15 (we figured that they had the "30 minute before sunset rule" reversed because they abruptly quit at 8:45). I've witnessed some pretty stupid boating this summer....and I have to admit that I was hoping that MP would come by.

Lots of bonehead boaters out there. Yesterday we had an adult (father we assumed) with 2 young children on a jet ski jumping our wake, which was quite large, about 150' behind us. On the 3rd time I stopped the boat so the adult could see my displeasure which was only a stern look. He took off immediately. The big concern my wife and I had was that there was a very young girl hanging at the back of the jet ski and appeared she was not well secured and could have easily fallen off. There was another child in front of the adult and up against the area below the steering handles who also could have been injured when jumping our wake. This type of activity is very dangerous and stupid.

Grab a drink and wait or the pretty blue lights and watch the fun from your new dock. Was there lightning?

Better yet, grab that drink and enjoy. Don't let a bonehead or anybody else occupy your thoughts and actions to the point of being upset about it when there's not a darned thing you can do about it. If it doesn't affect you, what do you care?
