Default Our Family Tree - Tilton/Belmont

On Friday morning we were up early and headed to Our Family Tree for breakfast. Have been there once or twice since they opened and I haven't seen much about it on this forum - apologies if I missed a thread. Great breakfast looking out over the docks- unfortunately still quite a few empty slips. They have a huge menu and I always hold onto it after I order just to see all the different things they have. My favorite so far is the homemade anadama bread- out of this world. Slightly sweet w/a sourdough taste- yum! I'd never heard of it until I tried it here. According to the flyer on the table they are now open as an ice cream parlor and apparently this weekend they opened a back deck and I think it said they're going to have music. I could be wrong about the bands so please correct me if I'm wrong. They were busy but not mobbed which was nice for us- when we drove by after some errands it looked like the next wave of customers had hit. Nice to have another breakfast option in our area. Ice cream doesn't hurt either! nkiar

Thumbs up Family Tree Restaurant

I've posted about this place twice (use the search feature). Great breakfasts, and I second the comment about the anadama bread. I think they're here to stay.

Is that place located on Winnisquam west of mosquito bridge where all the pontoon boats are slipped?

Siksukr- yes, that's the place. I know it used to something else- Good Times or Good Friends maybe? I can't remember the name and I never went there under the previous ownership.

Overlake- sorry I missed your posts. I'll go back and check them out tonight when I get home. We're in Tilton so to get to many of the other places discussed on this forum can be a bit of a drive and therefore I'm all for their success and I too hope they're here to stay. The other place we frequent for breakfast is the Greenside in the Lochmere Country Club. I'll search that and see what folks have reported on it. nkiar

Thumbs up Kudos

We agree! So much so that were were there both Saturday AND Sunday this past weekend. Anadama is the best -- my husband's favorite. And I highly recommend the New England Hash. Outstanding breakfasts all-around. And the staff has been excellent each time we've been over the last few months.

My wife and I stopped there for lunch today. My wife had a turkey sandwich and I had the Shepards Pie. The service was slow but that was because the Red Hat ladies were having a luncheon there, which strained the kitchen. Both meals were excellent.
