Default Lyons Den Closed??

Late in the summer while having dinner at the Lyons Den, my wife and I asked Lauren (owner) if they were planning on staying open through the winter. She confirmed that yes they were going to give it a try.

Went by there today hoping to have lunch just to find out it is closed...No sign saying see you next year... just closed.

We spoke with a friend from next door at the Marina who thought the restaurant had closed for good!!

I don't want to start any rumors, so if anyone knows the status of the Lyons Den, please reply.

It would be a real shame to lose what I consider to be one of, if not the best restaurant in the area.

Thanks;

Dan

I think it's a good idea for all restaurant owners to get away from their business for a couple weeks a year knowing how hard most of them work. But come on folks, please post a sign saying when you're leaving and when you'll be back.

Good news I would hate to see this place close.

Default Good News

Thanks for the good news jonr...I must agree with seekr however, a sign really should have been placed on the door or some other obvious place.

Glad to hear the Lyons Den remains open!!

Come to think of it there was a sign when we were there but it was at the hostess station.

Default Open November 20th

We do apologize for any confusion or worry. We will be open for business on November 20th. We will be closed on Mondays until Memorial Day and we plan on being closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. The first two holidays because they are mostly 'family' days and New Year's Day because we will want the day off after New Year's Eve.

We did have a sign posted inside for 4 weeks before we closed and the one we left outside either was removed or blew away...

Thanks so much for the warm wishes and we look forward to seeing all of you soon. By the way, we still have a few openings for Christmas parties.

Default Tragedy Averted

Phew, I must say when I saw the thread name I freaked. Ha ha ha. Truly one of the best restaurants in the Lakes Region.

Enjoy your time off.
