Tough spot this time of year, the water is high, hides those rocks, but not the marker......

Default Anchors away

This is a good reminder to check your anchor, make sure you have at least 100 feet of untangled rope and that the bitter end is tied somewhere secure. This past weekend, I had an engine failure in significant wind, and the anchor eliminated the danger till I could get a tow. It was the first time I used the anchor, and was glad (and frankly surprised) that it was ready for action.
