28 foot +- wreck
Found this about a week ago; 56 feet of water; Interesting to see what might have caused the holes in the lake floor adjacent to it.

Maybe something heavy was thrown overboard to save the ship?

Interesting pictures
I really enjoy your pictures of the wrecks/submerged boats. I find it fascinating wondering how many boats have gone down in the lake over the last 150 or more years. I don't know if you've ever watched the show "Drain the ocean". It would be pretty cool to see Winni and all it's secrets exposed if the lake was temporarily emptied!

Video & GPS Numbers
This video was taken on 10/09/13. The first 75 seconds are good but the rest has problems. Not sure what happened.
http://youtu.be/KL_Vr9N5rcE Wolfeboro Bay N 43 34.326 W 71 12.982 Depth = 57 feet It's an old steamer that was scuttled. No engine. The silt around it is > 4 feet deep. The wreck is buried in the silt and tipped so that the starboard gunwales are almost at the top of the silt. The bow is pointed and the stern is fantailed. There was a big cusk under the wreck and 2 more nearby. The silt is very deep so watch your buoyancy. We'll take a better video this summer.
