Default Need HELP----Bats!!

Hello---

I've been out on Rattlesnake for 11 years and until last year have never had any bat issues in the house until I found 1 in my guest bathroom last year and then one in my master bath this year.

I have had an exterminator come out in previous years for mouse control so the house is very tight. Can not see any obvious entry point.

I would appreciate any advice in dealing with this and if anyone has used professional services for this problem in their island cottage would appreciate the name.

Thanks!!

Default JP Pest

I had ongoing bat issues for years at my lake house. I finally found JP pest who are EXPERTS in wildlife control. They sent a specialist who was able to find several tiny areas where bats were entering my home, they installed temporary one way doors and after a few weeks the bats were gone for good. Bats are protected by law and they can't be trapped or killed, you must install the one ways to let them get out and then seal up the entry points.

JP pest has many offices around the state, I highly recommend them

Caution--bats pose a (small) risk of rabies. My physician insisted on the shots after I shared a room with one.

I'll second the recommendation for JP Pest Control for bats. Took care of some in my attic 3 or 4 years ago, tightened house up- no more problems (knock on wood); we now use them for ant prevention as well

JP Pest. Reliable, honest, fair. Bat remediation a decade ago and no problems since.
