Default May Tent Camping

I'm looking to tent camp (weather permitting) in the Meredith Area for one night the weekend BEFORE Memorial Day.

I know Twin Tamarack and Clearwater are open. Are there any others that will let you tent camp? I dont need water, sewer or electric.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Wherever you end up, remember this.

You cannot run in a campground, you can only ran.

Because it's past tents.

Good luck

For either sixteen or maybe eighteen dollars, you can tent camp at the United States Forest Service campground, the Campton Campground located in Campton, NH; not so far away up at Rt 93-Exit 28. The USFS has about 23-different campgrounds located in the White Mountain National Forest, and Campton Campground has hot showers.

How much does it cost to tent camp at a campground in Meredith?

I think I can get $25 for pre-Memorial Day camping at Clearwater or Twin Tamarack. Post Memorial Day $30 I think for tent camping at Gunstock in Gilford.

Up in Moultonborough you can go to either Long Island Bridge campground, or Bear's PineWood campground,,,,, both of which I believe open for Pre-Memorial Day camping...

Oh yeah. This isn't my first rodeo. I'm also familiar with many natural aides to keep one warm and make one sleepy.
