Thumbs up Golden retrievers

Sorry folks but I had to change the headline...I think I have met pretty nasty dogs in ALL breeds ...just like people.....yes some breeds get a worse rap than others. I have met minature poodles that have ripped the lip off of people and a chihuahua that even the owner can't get near....

Default unfair statistics

It seems people don't understand that 'a pitbull' is not breed specific.

It's a slang term that generalizes a group of many many different types of dogs together. Of course those statistics are going to sky rocket when you account for a handful of different breeds grouped together.

"Pitbull (disambiguation)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pitbull or Pit bull is any of several breeds of dog in the molosser breed group.
Pitbull may also refer to:
In dog breeds:
American Pit Bull Terrier
American Staffordshire Terrier
Staffordshire Bull Terrier"

Hasn't this horse/dog/topic been flogged enough?

Enough already! Back to our regularly scheduled LAKES REGION focus.

You are having a hard time understanding this,we don't care about your love for the breed!! They're plenty of other breeds you can own... just pick one I am sure you will be very happy with the one you picked. When you own your own island you can go back and get the other breed.Until then be happy owning a nice family dog. The shelters are full of them.

Winisquamguy this is where the 2% rule applies. For donthasslemeimlocal to understand the reasoning for the two threads, and the only two threads they have posted on they must be 2% smarter then the topic at hand. This person obviously is not 2% smarter then a pit bull so therefor logically he is at a disadvantage.
Merry meeting has made a good point about moving on.
I look forward to seeing you soon Winisquamguy and showing you our new killer Jack Russell puppy, she's adorable and will really tear you up!

Default Owners beware!

Here is another story. This is something that recently happen. A 'pit-bull' involved human death.

Here are a few.
Hanging with the rest of the crowd, a happy wife with her new puppy, first trip to Lowes and resting after a day of playing.
