Now this is what I am talking about! Yay for Spring! Is that a white daylilly? We can't grow much on Long Island as the flowers would just be deer feed. Beautiful garden pics!

jenfa,

My mother was the gardner. She can no longer do the gardening due to health issues. But I and my siblings do all the weeding, cultivating, etc.

As to the type of flowers? I only know they are her choice for the garden and mine to keep flowering.

The deer don't seem to bother the lillies or the other flowers. As for the Hosta (sp) well that's a story of it's own. I use deer repellent spray on them and that seems to work well.

I'm glad you enjoyed the pics.

Thanks,

ToW

Tulips and forsythia would have been a better choice for Spring. Lol

Default A couple more for the spring lovers

Lakesrider,

Your picture of the butterfly reminded me of the dragonfly I got pics of last spring. As many Dragonflies do he was on the hunt and kept returning to the same perch allowing me to set up while he was on wing. Then when he returned I could take the pics.

Here are a couple more pic's for the spring lovers and Dragonfly lovers.

enjoy

It won't be long now and I should see and hear the Red Wing Blackbird along the Merrymeeting River.
