Default Paugus Bay Ice Safety?

So I like to head down to cactus jacks for my free app with helmet bwhahahahaa. Usually hop off the tracks after the channel and zip across, anyone know what the depths of ice are and if it's safe for sleds?

Thanks.

Exclamation

I would go when I could see Bob's houses, pickup trucks parked and other activity out on the ice. If no one else is out there, leave it that way.
