Feb 17 Nostalgic Latchkey Ice Race-Meredith Bay
Today's race, with modified 4-wheel race cars set up for ice racing, located approximately 500-yards out on the frozen Meredith Bay from the town docks was truly an historic event.
How many race cars participated in running around the marked race track on the ice? do not know? How many cars, pickup trucks, snowmobiles, and atv's were parked out on the ice there? Do not know, but the true answer could well be that there were one hundred or more cars and trucks parked out there ..... maybe two hundred vehicles ..... who knows ? How many people were out there? Do not know but it could have been a few hundred..... maybe 500 ..... maybe 1000 ...who knows? As already mentioned, it was definitely a big event, and here's hoping some photos show up ...... a photo is worth 1000-words ...... anyone have any photos to post here? www.lrirc.com http://www.greatermeredithprogram.co...niversary.html
