Default Ice Para-Sailing...??

First time I've ever seen anyone doing this...looked like he was having a blast....He had skis, a helmet, and a type of parachute-thing that he could control....

It seems like Squam Lake in Holderness, where Route 25 gets very close to the water, maybe a quarter mile north of the Squam Lakes Association building, is a weekend gathering spot for this type of kite and sail rig activity.

On the day after Christmas, there were about 12-cars parked there, next to the old wood railing fence, there, which is like a big group for around here.

Sail rigging and ice skate kiting 'On frozen Golden Pond' ....... just like Katherine Hepburn talk'n to Henry Fonda in that movie ....... you know ....."come along you old poop ..... we simply haaaave to give this sail kiting thing ..... a try ..... you understand ...... don't yoooou!"

Many looked like they were dressed for ice hockey with helmets, elbow pads, knee pads, pfd's for chance'n the thin ice, and ice skates ...... and one had shoulder pads. Probably, they had 911 on speed dial.
