I used Daryl also, very quick, timely and neat. My asbestos was in the window glazing holding the panes in and in the bottom layer of shingles on the addition the prior owner built.i didn't have it anywhere else but it is also common to find in floor tiles and also the stuff they spray on the underneath side of kitchen sinks as well as some ceiling materials.

SAB1: How old do you think your windows were? What is your guess on the age of the addition?

The house was built in the early 70's so the windows are that vintage. The addition I don't know the date of but my guess would be '79 ish.

Default Asbestos Removal

Rugman- Good to hear that you had a good experience with Daryl. I have her lined up to look at our place on Sleepers, once the ice goes away hopefully early April. I spoke to her on the phone and she seems like she knows her subject very well. Thanks again to Tummyman for the recommendation.
