Default LPC loon cam

The first chick hatched this morning. The second one should hatch in a day or so. Check it out before the loons leave the nest for the season.

Yes it is. A fellow boater and I had a confrontation with a pro bass fisherman. One of those with a 300 horse scream and fly 20' bass boat with all kinds of sponsor stickers plastered all over it. When we were admiring his extensive equipment, we notice lead sinkers. We question the use of lead sinkers in Winni because they are toxic to the Loon. He replied, his sponsors will have a say on what he can and cannot use. Yes it is ridiculous!

Curious how you knew he was using lead since there is no way to tell by looking at it?...

Since there are plenty of other heavy metals that are non toxic and are now being widely used by fishermen that are less than 1 ounce, I simply cannot imagine any sponsor requiring the use of something illegal...this “story” just doesn’t make sense...
