Boat rental available?
My apologies if this does not belong here. My family is coming up for a visit and I am looking to rent a boat for this Sunday, 8/9. I am looking for a 24 ft+ boat, preferably a bow rider. I am an experienced boater on Lake Winni, having owned a 32 ft SeaRay for many years. I would have purchased one this year, then Covid happened. I can offer a large security deposit and we can discuss rental fees. If you or someone that you know is interested in renting, please give me a call. 603-566-8093. Thanks.

Highly unlikely any private person would rent you their boat, but you never know. You'd most likely have better success going through one of the marinas that does rentals.

I’d think insurance would be a nightmare if something happened and they learned the owner was renting it out for money.

Thanks for your responses
The marinas are booked. As for insurance, I could easily purchase my own boat insurance. I had it before.

I'd suggest that trying to insure a boat you don't own is some sort of fraud. Insurance companies are smarter than you might think.

A Plan B suggestion
This is probably not what you really want, but why not take everyone on the Mt. Washington for a cruise? I have no idea when they’re running this season, but last year we treated the whole family to the Sunday brunch cruise, and they really enjoyed it. At least you won’t have to worry about insurance, liability, etc. Good luck.
Oops... I am a day late and a dollar short. The event was yesterday. Sorry. |
