Furniture reupholstery
I need to get our dining chair seats reupholstered... about 10 years ago I took them to a gal located off Route 3 near Holderness on Ta Dump Ta Dump road... not sure if she is still in business. Anyone have any suggestions?

This is kind of a lost art.
Most just toss the furniture and buy new. But, there must be someone or some place in New Hampshire that does this. This forum is a great asset to the community. Hope someone chimes in to help you out. |

Wayne on Pease Road
We just had our dining room chairs reupholstered by Wayne, who is located on Pease Road in Meredith. His number is 387-4757. He did a really nice job at a reasonable price. Good luck.

When we moved to the lake we had a sleeper sofa that would not o through the doors to a room due to a tight turn and narrow hallway. The folks at Ippolitto Furniture (sp) directed us to a fellow who does furniture repair etc. Can't recall his name presently but if you give them a call they surely could direct you to him.
call: 603-279-7974 He removed the front board and legs. Reinstalled and the legs are now screwed on. Better than when new. Good luck |

Furniture
For furniture repair, I would call Jim Currier in Moultonboro. He fixed a chair for us, he does work for some of our really high-end clients, he is a master. Company is Hillhurst, number is (603) 253-8596.
Thanks for all your suggestions, will try the fellow in Meredith. |

I do believe it was Jim currier who enabled us to get the sleeper into the room.
Impossible to tell anything was taken apart and reinstalled. Hope I remember the next time I need something done. Wave Cuz I will wave back. From the Izzy Anna |

I just had some slipcovers and upholstery done by Pat Turgeon from Belmont. She's fantastic.
