Question How About Everybody Else?

Not so much the Broads, a silent powerboat would be popular with thousands of lake dwellers accustomed to listening to New Hampshire's Loons and other birdlife.

BTW: The Swiss have Draconian laws against ALL noise--motorcycles included. Even BMW motorcycles--already acceptably quiet in neighboring countries--are nearly silent by law!

Whatever its range, your electric boat isn't going to be able to circumnavigate the globe!

Funny, the several failures with PlanetSolar (while traveling around the globe using sunlight for power) involved the gearing! That the operators were able to make machine repairs in places where donkeys were the primary transport-mode is commendable.

Agreed, "Not so much the Broads"

Also I would very miss the sound of the engine, its a key part of "power boating", maybe it would good for sailboats though!

I love it! The advantage in the Broads is that you would ride above the chop. Incredible specs too--25 knots at 30hp, 50 mile range, 20% of the power required for a comparable 25' bowrider
