Default Mike Love-has passed away

What terrible news. From CaringBridge.org, the Love family has posted a notice that Mike passed away on Wednesday.

How very sad. May Mike rest in peace, and may the many happy memories comfort Donna and his family during this difficult time.

Such sad news. Mike and Donna were such a great part of this area for so long. Thoughts and prayers to all the family. Rest in peace, Mike.

Default Godspeed

I have known Milke since the early 70's when we attended Belknap College. Condolences to his family and loved ones.

I didn't really know Mike, but saw him constantly at his Love's Quay restaurant. He was always asking how things were when I dined there. I remember calling him on the morning of New Year's Eve about 10-years ago to ask for a special dinner request for my date and he couldn't have been more gracious. It was as if we were the only guests expected that evening. I'm sure he is in a better place. God bless him and his family.

Default very sad

We were very very sad to hear of Mikes passing as well. Myself and my staff did take some comfort in knowing that he, Donna, Sarah & Steve can find peace at the end of a very troubling time. Our hearts go out to them during this time of mourning, and we know that all of the support and love the people of the lakes (and beyond) have shown the Love family has meant everything.

To honor that request, a "Celebration of Life" party will be held at 6 p.m., July 12, at the home of Carl and Jody Calendar, 5 Ferry Road, Moultonborough. A fireworks display at 9 p.m. will conclude the celebration. Rain date is July 13.
