Default White water park

Cant speak to the economics of this but it sure looks cool and the area could definitely use a boost

Default Great plan

Great plan. I hope this does for Franklin what Jericho is doing for Berlin. different scale, of course. I'm not a 'yakker, but I'd buy a ride in a rubber raft.

Sign me up! When I lived in Pittsburgh, there was a controlled river not too far from there that was pretty fun and drove a healthy attendance. Hopefully this does the same!

It is through this section where the annual New Year's Day River Run takes place! I think the park is a great idea!

I went to one of these natural water parks in Mexico many years ago. I always thought it was a great idea that would be a great attraction around here but probably seasonal as the water is cold even in august.

I am all for this, but just curious are they controlling the river to create rapids and curves and things like that? if so just curious how they would be able to do this DES wise?

Know little to nothing about this new outdoor go-to spot in Franklin? It looks at first glance like a super-good outdoor activity area now getting built. Franklin is like so close yet so far away, at the same time. Franklin is somewhere that I never ever seem to visit for some unknown reason?

Now I will have a good reason to go to Franklin. Is a number of different outdoor to-do items; walking, bicycling, and paddling a kayak, and now there's the very expensive kayaks that get peddled so your hands can hold a fishing rod while you pedal fish instead of paddle fishing, you go pedal fishing. You know that Walmart does not sell any pedal kayaks.

Once you hit age-68, the F & G has lowered the price for a fishing license down to seven dollars ...... that's right .... just seven bucks for a license ..... a super, all year license, low price to be fishing from the NH Fish & Game.

So, is there any good fishing there in Franklin where the Pemigewasset River runs through Franklin?
