Default Nursery Recommendation

Turning to my Forum friends to recommend a nursery to buy my annuals, a place with a good selection and reasonable prices. I am located in West Alton and used to go to Precious Gardens which is no longer selling flowers. Thanks for your help.

Spider web in Tuftonboro. It is on rte 109. A nice ride from Alton.

Ledgeview Gardens has great plants. It is off Rt. 106 near the racetrack.

Default Beans & Greens

I'm not sure what reasonable is anymore since we live up here year round. Prices are a bit more than Lowe's, but you don't have the owner suggesting what flowers are good for your situation or sacrificing a sale by telling me to wait a couple week to buy. She wanted to make sure the flowers withstood some frosty evenings. I've been buying there for years. Always great hanging baskets, too.

And their Raspberry filled sugar cookies . . . to die for. And then there is always Mo, you can visit.

Default Precious Gardens in now Lambert's

Went the other day to the former Precious Gardens which is now Lambert's Landscaping Supply Center and they are selling annuals. They are just starting out and have a good selection of various plants and hangers at reasonable prices. Check them out - close to home

Default Sunflower Gardens in Alton..

They are located on route 28 heading south from the Alton Circle, and are about a quarter to a half mile south of Prospect Mt. High School, and on the left. Lots of choices usually, although we have not been in yet this year.

All good choices but I agree with Merrymeeting. You can't beat the selection at Spider Web Gardens
