Default Thorogood as well

George Thorogood is on the bill also. Should be a good show. However, I have seen Buddy Guy mail it in at other shows

Thumbs up

WOW! Argie is going to flip. He loves Buddy Guy and has seen him a couple of times at Hampton Beach. You don't "watch" Buddy's shows - you're there for your ears... he's a legend!

Airdale - you need to meet Argie - you two have a lot in common!

I just received notice about this and I'm really excited:

Derek Trucks is my favorite guitarist - it's going to be a great show!

Nice list Airedale!! You have many of my favorites listed! Terry Kath, wow!, probably the most underrated player of all time. He was so gifted and died way too young.

You only have 9 listed so I am going to guess and add #10... Al Dimeola... or maybe John Mayall... I think either fits your list nicely...

Few years back, Rolling stone did a "Top 100" guitarist list.

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/li...rists-20111123

Pretty good list, and a trip down memory lane for sure. Buddy Guy was placed at #23.

can't believe that you don't have Stevie Ray Vaughn in your list. I guess that is what the Forum is for, huh?

I only had 9 on my list and yes you are right, SRV would be amongst my top 10. No list would be complete without him.
