Default O: kids/distance

Hi!
Is O that everybody talks about at the Inn on Main Street?

If so: distance from docks = ~5 minutes? Kid friendly?

Yeah, I'm playing Phase 10 with the fam and posted in between hands.

People here talk a lot about O restaurant. I have a Canoe/Magic Foods GC and was thinking about heading there tonight with the kids on the boat.

So: is the O everybody raves about on Main Street at the Main Street Inn?

Is it kid-friendly?

And is it the short walk from the dock it looks like from the map?

My orphan Annie secret society decoder pin says "Why not write down and post exactly what what you what you want in your message" No need for the "Phase 10" crap.

How about asking exactly what you want in the form of a question.

I really can't believe you have a job as an educator. No wonder the kids a failing these days.

Why are you being a jerk? Just answer the questions (pretty obvious in at least my second post) or don't post.

I may not have this all straight...

...but the O that everyone is talking about is at the Opechee Inn on Elm Street in Laconia. There is also an O’s on Main Street in Wolfeboro. IMO a good walk from the docks for little kids. Both are Magic Foods products. Just Google Magic Foods Restaurant Group.

Others can chime in, just trying to forestall a forum fight.

Exactly what I was looking for. I remember reading somewhere that O wasn't accessible by boat but found the one on Main Street and was confused.

Looks like we'll be saving our gift card!

Thanks for the info!

To add to the discussion...Canoe in Center Harbor, a Magic Foods member, will pick you and your kids up from Center Harbor docks. You could use your card.

We were thinking that, but it's a little weird coming from Hanson Cove and around back to Center Harbor when we could drive five minutes.

I'm in the mood for a Fluffernutter from Bailey's Bubble, so we're heading to Wolfeboro and will try a different restaurant. I was exploring options as we're on reserve with our summer teacher funds and were trying to save a few bucks.

Thanks again, forum friend!

PS You might read your post and edit all the mistakes you made instead of criticizing mine. Considering the first response and a private message was exactly what I was looking for, I think my request was clear enough. And I won Phase Ten at the same time.

Belittling another’s alleged errors is simply putting a target on your back. Simply put, puerile behavior.

But it's totally cool to suggest I'm a bad teacher and schools are failing--in poorly written posts--because my post was made between other activities and not perfectly clear? Gotcha.

Well all I can say is QED. Keep referring to another’s supposedly poorly written posts and you give credence to your antagonist’s comments. My humble opinion.

Though I do appreciate your use of "puerile."

PS AT&T works well in Wolfeboro, for anyone who stumbles across this!

Did NOT mean to thank you a moment ago. Your post is completely inappropriate and rude, and you don't even have the excuse of some sort of hot button issue. A member clearly asked for advice on a restaurant. If you have some sort of other problem, take it outside

Perhaps this is a hint as to what thinkxingu dose with summers off.

What, Phase 10? Yes! One of my favorite family games.

We're actually pulling in to Hanson Cove after a GREAT trip to Wolfeboro and first (after 15 years) summer off. Garwood was tasty and my Fluffernutter at Bailey's was sa-weet--a great way to end.

Tomorrow AM, we head home and Tuesday I meet my new students. My seniors from last year are just moving into their dorms, starting trade/union schools, working, and, in the case of two of my kiddos, heading to the US Naval and Air Force Academies.

I'm a truly lucky guy.

There appeared to be a severe case of aggravated testosteronitis, which threatened to reach epidemic proportions. Hopefully, the worst is over.

Thumbs up O's in Wolfeboro

We just went there for the first time this summer. Was eating at the O in Concord, and the waiter told us about it. We couldn't believe there was an O in Wolfeboro we didn't know about, but that's because we always come by boat and stay closer to town...

We walked, it is just under a mile, but uphill the whole way. It's a great walk with a sidewalk, but is literally uphill. The upside is, the walk back after dinner is downhill the whole way We found out later that they will also come pick you up if you don't want to do the walk.

We had our 3 kids there (17, 15, 12), and they loved the food. When we were leaving, we saw a table in the lounge area that was full of little kids, all working on coloring in the kids menu, so seems pretty good for little ones too.

I don't remember what we ordered, but everyone enjoyed their meals, and service was great. We'll be back!

Great to know--when looking at the menu, I got a little hesitant as we were in flip-flops and t-shirts. Maybe we'll try it next time we drive over.

Cheers!

Default O’s Pickup in Wolfeboro

Labor Day during the rain. We had lunch at the bar at O’s in Laconia. . The barmaid informed us that the O’s in Wolfeboro offers shuttle service to/from the town docks. We also didn’t know they had a restaurant in Wolfeboro.
