Thanksgiving restaurant?
Anyone have any recommendations for a restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner? We did 51 Mill for this a couple times a few years back but don't know what their status will be this year. Just 2 adults and would prefer the Wolfeboro side if possible and choices other than turkey. Not looking for anything fancy, just good food. Thanks in advance.

Not sure about Woleboro Inn.
I had Thanksgiving there a few years ago and it was nice.
But the family tradition, if we go out, has always been Hart's in Meredith.

Certainly not the Wolfeboro Inn (see other posts on that subject).
Why would you go anyplace except Hart's where it is Thanksgiving 365 days a year? |

Another Option
Buckeys on Rt 109 in Moultonborough is offering an all you can eat buffet including prime rib for $20 an adult and $12 for children. Call them and ask the specifics of the menue. 476-5485 They have seating times etc. If I didn't want all the leftovers that my family cooks, I would go out and eat and let everyone else do the work. I believe it,Buckeys, fits your description of a good meal and environment. Happy eating whatever you choose to do.

Home cooked Turkey dinner
At about noontime, the smell of the brined and stuffed turkey in the oven permeates the house...does it get any better than that?.....all the fixin's on top of the stove. Friends and family gathered for the feast...pass the gravy please.
And the one thing you will never get from a restaurant on Thanksgiving night.....a freshly sliced turkey sandwich with mayo on soft white bread...is it Thursday yet? Safe and Happy Thanksgiving to all ! |
