I've know about it for a while. The problem is that since it streams right out of their camera the number of users seems to be very limited. When I've checked it in the past I have only been able to view it about 25% of the time.
That may have been corrected. I'll check it for a while and add it to my links if it seems to be more reliable now. Here's the link: http://www.abakeecottages.com/vidcam.htm |

Do you know where this view is from and what it's looking at? SS

Siksukr, I was unfamiliar with the name of the cottages also. I did a search and checked out their website. It's http://www.abakeecottages.com/welcome.htm
The view taken right from their website is "From this vantage point the White Mountains, Mt. Chocorua, the Ossipee Range and Mt. Washington present an impressive backdrop to the large open areas of Weirs Bay."

A little shameless self promotion here... A view and link to the Abakee Cottages webcam is available from the Snake Eyes website. The page shows all the lakes regions webcams at a glance. What is really cool is that the images are of the current images being displayed on thes cams not just a picture. This way you can see if the sun is shining all over the lake.
Sometimes you can see from the WeirsCAM that it is sunny in the Weirs, and from the StreetCam that it is raining in Wolfeboro. Have Fun

Your cam has become my home page. Love it. Many thanks. Your collection of the various regional cams with the thumbnail views is very cool. Here's an addition -- it's the live view looking at the Lake from Castle in the Clouds in Moultonborough. Regards, g |

Castle Springs webcam added to Snake Eyes cam page
Thanks Grant, I added it. Any other webcams from the Lakes Region will be cheerfully added to the Lake Cams page, just send the links.
