Default Fire pit wood?

I am looking to occasionally buy some wood to burn in our little backyard fire pit.

Lowes, Home Depot and others have bundles that seem rather pricey after I have become spoiled by the price of wood in the wood wagon on Parade Rd. in Laconia.

Unfortunately, the wagon runneth empty of late.

Have you seen any roadside camp wood deals lately?

Craigslist always has pine, the best outdoor firewood, for free or cheap.

I have a splitter and an assortment of butt wood....pine rounds and various hardwood crotches...all well-seasoned.

Pay me in good beer and I'll send you home with plenty.

Just east of Concord.

I usually travel over here for the wood, but he has been lacking in the refilling many times I have come by this year to empty bins, but stacks in the yard, I'm not going to knock on the door or enter his yard though, then again I could just have bad timing

There is a young fellow with a wood cart always out on Main Street in Alton, on the right heading North.

8gv - for outside fire pits you can burn any crap wood you can find. Don't you live near any woods with downed pine limbs, etc? Also if you have access to them or a way to move them some businesses give away old pallets you can break up. There's wood everywhere for the taking if you just look around and well I suppose you need a good form of transport also.
