Default Didn't notice an Intro section...

...so I figured I'd say "hello" to the General section!

Been lurking on the forum soon after after my special lady friend pointed me to the thread about someone mistakenly navigating themselves directly into the heart of the Witches. Quite an interesting read. My palms were sweating the entire time!

Anyway, a bit about me:

My boat is currently broken and I've since been living vicariously through the posts here as the repairs are taking place. I see some folks here are quite opinionated on which types of boats are on the lake so I'll just leave it at this.....it floats, makes waves and burns fuel just like yours does....well, at least it used to do all that until recently.

With family located on the Broads side of Rattlesnake, my season hasn't been a total wash but a PWC just isn't cutting it for me so I hope to be back out there in the next couple weeks.

I guess that's about it for now.

Thank you to the folks who consistently provide the invaluable information contained within these pages. I can only hope someday I will be able to contribute in a fraction of the same way.

The repairs are nothing more than a simple engine replacement. The previous engine (Merc Alpha 7.4) grenaded after a head gasket failure resulted in water mixing with the oil. At least the first 6hrs of my boating season were wonderful!

Been getting quite a bit of assistance from a forum member which has significantly helped ease the pain.
