Very nice pan Steve. I was a little right of center in your photo looking out at the quiet lake and sky. Very nice day on the lake.

Fabulous pano
Steve - appreciate viewing your great shots! Are those colors natural or do you use some type of filter? I'm very much an rookie at photography and curious.

I process my digital images with Photoshop Elements, in that software you can, (and I did), adjust things like brightness and "hue" to accent the colors. I also have a set of other software from a company called Topaz. These programs are used to modify very specfic parts of the picture such as adding a little "pop" to the clouds to make them stand out. When I was just starting to learn, I was lucky to have a very good instructor at a "adult" education class that first taught me about the "basics' of digital photography. I would advise anyone just starting to really learn the basics of framing, composition, use of light, etc. Couple of usful online sites will also help, I suggest: http://digital-photography-school.co...mposition-tips http://www.digitalcameraworld.com/20...why-they-work/ If you learn some of the stuff on those two sites you will be well on your way to a very fun addiction. I would also suggest you look around for some classes. The ones I took were at Laconia High School as part of their adult education program. 8 classes over 8 weeks for a total cost of $55! Good luck, be careful.. it's addictive!
