Default Hart's Turkey Farm in Manchester

According to today's Union Leader, Hart's Turkey Farm will be opening a second location in late May or early June, at the location of the former Hooters on the circle. Wow!

I just can't imagine going to Hart's anywhere other than at the Lake................. I still have very fond memories of years ago, my parents calling Mr. Hart when we were on our way (via boat) from Wolfeboro and he would pick us all up at the Meredith Town Docks in the station wagon, and deliver us back to the Docks -- hours later, lol! Good times, those were!

What's next, a franchise? OH DEAR!!!!!!!!!!

No franchise. I saw this posted at Harts a month or so ago. So I asked, What we don't all know, or remember is that Harts had a big piece of the catering business at NHIS. Now that it is NHMS they don't have any piece of the business. Seems that Mr Smith has his own catering deal. So the track deal is already negatively affecting the local economy. So, to combat that huge loss of $$$ Harts has decided to open a second location, in a more densely populated area. I wish them the best, I did ask if they were going to keep the Hooters Uniforms, but they informed me that they will be in their traditional Harts uniforms.

Default Hart's and NHIS

Hart's did a great job at NHIS. What a shame they will no longer be there.

Best of luck to them in Manchester!

I hope they do well, but that is not the best location. It is a very busy traffic circle, and can be difficult to access the hotel/restaurant. Not to mention that the parking there is iffy at best.

I'm sitting right down the street from that location. It's a tough spot even though it has high traffic count and maybe that's part of the problem. There has been a number of businesses in that old Holiday Inn.If people could'nt find Hooters of all places it might be a hard sell to find turkey breasts.Nope,I'll still go to the Merideth Harts first.

Easy there, Froggy - no need to shout. We all make typos every now and again.

Default Uncle Hulka??

We're all very different people. We're not Watusi, we're not Spartans, we're Americans. With a capital "A", huh? And you know what that means? Do you? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We're the underdog. We're mutts.

One of my faaavorite movies of all time!!

Apologies. I make serious typos as well.

Sometimes, I am known to react far too quickly. When asked my address on phone by someone like a vendor, I spell the town!
