Default Sunday Brunch

We will be in Weirs Beach in a couple of weeks. I was wondering where there is a good Sunday brunch. We will be staying at the Cozy Inn & Cabins and do not want to go too far because I would like to go to the beach that day if it is nice out. Thanks.

Donna Jean's is very close to you right at the bridge over the channel. Yellow building. There will be a wait. This is a good sign!

Lakehouse in Meredith does a nice Sunday Jazz Brunch, plus you can usually get a good view of Meredith bay.

Lets not forget Waldo Pepper's weekend breakfast Buffett...

Woodsy

PS: I think the Weirs Beach Smokehouse does a breakfast Buffett too

Wink Lake House Or Corner House Inn...

...both have great brunches.

The Lake House is a tad expensive but it has a great atmosphere and different selections for brunch (i.e. peel and eat shrimp, a ton of pastries, a chocolate fountain with strawberries, and usually at least one other fish dish and a chicken dish too).

The Corner House is great too...at least it was three or four years ago. If you have little ones, sit upstairs in the pub area. It doesn't have a "pub" feeling for brunch, but the there's different tables set up with checkers, chess, etc. Very reasonable too! The wife and I went a few years ago and it was something ridiculously cheap, like 18 bucks or something.

Of course, George's in Meredith is always a sure bet for breakfast. Don't know if they do brunch though.

Let us know where you went and how it was.

Default Basin

Like the Corner House as well but if your thinking about driving to Corner House, you may want to try The Basin in Holderness(follow Rt3 north to bridge) Think it starts at 11:00am on Sunday's and think the cost is $10.95. Right on the water(Little Squam).

Default Sunday Brunch

Don't forget the Sunday Champagne Brunch aboard the M/S Mount Washington.
You can cruise Lake Winnipesaukee while you eat. There is no better view than that!
They depart Weirs Beach at 10 AM and 12:30 PM.

Thanks everyone for responding! I really appreciate how helpful everyone is on this forum. I like the rustic look of the Lakehouse. I think I might try that. We did the sunday brunch cruise on the M/S Mount Washington last year and did enjoy it.

Default Lake House

I like the rustic look of the Lakehouse.

The surroundings might have a rustic touch, but the dining room is linens and silver and anything but rustic, combined with a fabulous view. I think their buffet is an excellent value for the price considering the amount and variety of food they offer.

One warning, it's not a place to go for brunch on a holiday like Mom's Day or Easter - they jack up the prices, move you to the grand ballroom which has nothing but walls for a view, and it just isn't the same experience. We had reservations at opening time for Mom's Day and they weren't ready when we arrived, some of the food wasn't hot having had to go down the stairs from the kitchen, and while the ballroom is beautiful, it's not the lake.
