Trail Access
Can anyone tell me where I can access the trail system from the lake around Rt 11 Alton / Gilford ? We are on Rattlesnake and enjoy running around on the lake but this year if the snow is like last I'd like to check out some trail riding in the area

We left the lake quite a bit last year, we figured out how to get around the area with the local club trail maps. I added the Mt Major (Alton) and Belknap (Gilford) links below, I also added a master link we found that lists all of the clubs.
The best time we had was in the other direction, we accessed the trails across the broads and went to the top of Mt Shaw and back through Meredith, then back to Rattlesnake. Let me know if you want to get together for a ride this year and we can show you where we went last year. http://www.mountmajorsnowmobileclub.com/maps/maps.htm http://www.belknapsnowmobilers.com/ http://www.directorynh.com/NHAssocia...bileClubs.html |
