Exclamation Training is Essential...

There's new information if you Google "club motorsports, Tamworth, NH". They've squeezed a lot of curving asphalt into a relatively small area of Tamworth. They start operations this September.

They describe the course as "heart-pounding", and I'd agree with that assessment if they haven't made improvements using standard race-track safety features. .

Last year's videos show a newly-paved track, but scant attention to safety. I hope that's been attended to.

I've trained race car drivers on dozens of race tracks, but never seen where a moment's distraction could put you into the face of 200 feet of granite!

You'll need "track" tires and some real-time instruction. You don't want your Corvette passed by 4-cylinder passenger cars!

Don't know if they require helmets, but "BMW-CCA" track events will, and their beginner's "Teen Survival" course is an excellent place to start.

Like Tres Martin's school for boaters, such education will open your eyes.

The track is supposedly complete. Final paving occurred last year. Safety appears to be paramount. All apex and exit curbing has been installed as well as miles of Armco guardrail. The track is 2 1/2 miles long with beautifully sweeping corners and grade changes. From the recent reviews I have read, this track will rival the best road tracks in the US. It really looks very promising. Check out this video made this year.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FR_S2beiwLk The curbing missing in the video is supposedly complete now.

I have been to the Ron Fellows performance school in Spring Mountain Nevada and and I enjoyed it immensely! Spring Mountain is just an awesome facility! Club Motorsports looks like they have done everything right and very similar to Spring Mountain and with it being so close to home I would love to get out there and try it out. I just have questions about membership that the web site does not answer. Was hoping someone here was a member...
