Default Perched Beach

Does anyone have a rough idea of the cost of installing a perched beach. I understand I need a permit and that will add to the cost but just asking for ballpark numbers from folks who have put one in.

Difficult to answer with provided information.

I have constructed one in the past. Lots of variables.
Stone? PT Lumber? Sand?
Any machinery to be used?

Ease of egress?

If bringing in sand. Be careful of weeds that may come with the sand. Read up on sand.

$13-16k. I have done one before and am doing one now. Well kinda doing one now...Not a lot of forward progress on the contractors part...

Code man, I’d like to know the contractor you hired for that price. (Assuming he returns & gets back to work!) We have a 30’ existing sloped beach that we would like to convert to a conforming perched beach. We were given an estimate of $20k to $40k. Would love to find a better price.

Anyone else have a suggestion?

they will range from 15,000 to 30,000 and up from there on the very large projects. Give Don Carey a call at Center Harbor Dock & Pier and he can answer any questions you may have.

Sluggo, your beach looks very similar to what we want. Any chance you can send another pic from the angle looking back at it, say from the end of the dock? Beautiful!
