Default Nor-Tech

Saw a beautiful blue Nor-Tech 43' at the Alton docks and then again at WAM sandbar this evening. Not sure if the owner is on the forum or not. She's a beauty. Marine Patrol slowed and was checking her out as she was anchored at the bar, not sure if he was admiring or not.

Lotta boat for this lake, especially with the SL, but a beauty never the less.

I had not seen this boat on the lake before. I would love to know what power she is running.

www.nor-techboats.com .... it's always fun to take a gaggle-eye look at a $400,000 big-bucks, go-fast and check out all the guages, controls, luxurious interior and special bunker seats which have a seat bottom that goes up & down to adjust for best control what with speed and surface condition.

Can you pick out the Nor-tech from their website?

My latest boat; for four hundred dollars, just yesterday , I got a craigslist-NH boat from a guy out on Mark Island; a Lund 11' jon boat with very nice wood oars, that's all aluminum, and weighs maybe 75-lbs....... what-a-fun little boat!

...talk about different strokes for different folks!

...oh yeah....a poor guy buys a 400-dollar boat, while a rich guy buys a $400,000 boat....it's pretty common to see some one single guy out in a super-duper boat, all-by-himself, driving around on a sunny Sunday or sometime.....boats are like houses...it's not about the boat....it's about the people(s) in the boat.

What this lake needs is a Sunday's; nine-to-noon, go-fast zone, out on the broads on every Sunday, with a twelve mile long, go-fast drag strip so's all these big, bad, go-fun, go-fast, super boats like a Nor-tech, www.nor-techboats.com will have their spot to get out and play!

It would probably help the locals economy, too!

Default Nor-Tech 43

Saw this boat coming thru the Weirs Channel Saturday evening about 6:00 PM. First time I've seen one in person. Beautiful boat.

Thanks,
Bill

Default On Alton Bay

There is one at big yellow house on West Alton Bay next to Bay Side Inn. Takes it out most Saturdays. I think he drives it to gas dock and back.
