Default Garden Stairs Replacement

Hi, Looking to replace the rotted (1988 era) pressure treated stairs and sides to the entrance to our basement. Think bulkhead stairs built from PT 6x6s with no cover.
Any suggestions for contractors? We received one quote from a very reputable landscape designer, however, it was 2x my rough guesstimate.
Appreciate any suggestions.
