Rock the size of a House?
Hello,
We read an article (Weir's Time), last year, that was about a very large rock in a town close by to Lake Winni. It showed a picture where people were standing right in front and it appeared to be about 3x their height and maybe 40 feet wide. We thought is was called Mason's Rock, but haven't been able to find information on it. We are looking to take our kids out there Does anyone know of such a rock? Sorry I don't have more info. |

When we were kids, we could climb up on it. You can't now.

We saw an article in one of the local papers last year about the Madison Boulder. We were fascinated and visited last autumn. Definitely worth it. Although the road is relatively well marked, if you have young children, expect a lot of " are we there yet?" It isn't right around the corner.

It looks small in this shot. The closer you get the more impressive it gets.

Nice description. I was so hoping it said something at the end like "Please Don't Move It".
