Not sure about Ragged but on Welch they have a ways to go. Still small, green and hard. I would guess 1 - 1 1/2 weeks. Here’s a pic of the bushes on my property...

Default Not quite ripe yet

Looks good however many berries not ripe and the ones that you think are ripe are a little tart tasting. Another week and they will taste like blueberries, not tart berries. However if that is what you like then pick away.

Just because those are blue berries doesn't mean they are blueberries.

I guess that’s better than being accused of having “dingleberries”!

We are picking blueberries now. We have several wild bushes on our land on Grassy Pond and in Green's Basin. Sorry, but the bushes are not open to the public. We freeze them so we can have blueberry pie all year.

Default Cheese - yes

You may want to try cream cheese with your pies. Goes well with any pie except pumpkin. My dad got me hooked on it since I was a kid.

Default cream cheese

Thanks DaveM, never gave cream cheese a thought. Wil try the combination with the next pie as long as it's not lemon meringue.

I gotta think so--they've been on Gunstock, Piper, and Whiteface the last few weekends.
