Default Memorial Day Boat Traffic ?

My wife and I reside in Pennsylvania and this will be our 20th year in a row visiting your wonderful area. We stay at Colonial Pines Resort in Center Harbor. We are considering coming up over Memorial Day week this year which is a few weeks earlier than usual. Question ... assuming good weather, how busy is the lake over Memorial Day weekend as opposed to any other nice weekend subsequent to the holiday. Many thanks in advance for responses !

Ther will be a fair amount of activity as it does signal the unofficial start to the summer season. It will not however have the amount of people as say the the 4th of July. This all depends on the weather. If its cold and rainy you can bet on a much smaller turnout.

I know we got an early start this year but the lake seems very quiet to me so far. I don't know if that is an indicator of Memorial Day weekend.

It's not nearly as bad as the 4th of July weekend or a regular busy summer weekend, but there will be some traffic. I wouldn't not go becuase of it or anything... it's actually one of my favorite weekends to go up!

Default Thanks guys ...

I appreciate the responses. Weather forcast permitting, I'm planning on heading up that weekend and spending the week. Hopefully the black fly convention is cancelled this year.
