Default Yamaha Jet Boat service?

Is there anyone else that will work on Yamaha Jet boats other than Irwin Marine? I am considering buying a pre-owned yamaha jet boat from another marina or in a private sale, but I wouldn't go that route if I cant get it serviced anywhere.

Irwin will service boats they sell, and will do warranty repairs, but if I suck up a rock into the jet drive and damage the impeller, am I really on my own? Its quite the monopoly.

Would HK Powersports work on a jet boat? I’m guessing it’s similar enough to a jet ski as far as the impeller goes? They might only work on used ones, though, no pre-owned. lol. It’s worth a call. They’ve done really fast and reasonably priced work on the jetski.

haha that was their goal. Change the language to change the attitude. There’s almost always a sinister reason behind euphemisms. Beware! lol
