Last Saturday I saw a big, beautiful dark blue boat with 5 matching outboards going through the no wake zone between Bear and Pine. Anyone know anything about this boat?

The boat is a Midnight Express and is docked at Lakeport Landing. Agree it is a beautiful boat, not sure you can fully enjoy it on Winni? 😂

Just checked out Midnight Express boats, and they're gorgeous.
What size is the one on Winni? Sent from my SM-S911U using Tapatalk |

Everyone is enjoying it as eye candy!
Except for the few that hate 'go fast' boats. They think pontoons can do no harm.

I'm guessing it's a 43 open; I only saw it for a few minutes. It's a beautiful boat. I prefer my Whaler for the lake and would love that beauty on the ocean. But, I didn't win the billion dollar Megabucks so I'll remain an admirer!

I’ve seen that picture quite a bit. Wonder if it’s real or photoshop? 3,150 go & almost 2 tons of engines.

It's a rendering. Nobody does multiple 350's when you have options at 400-600HP now. The Intrepid 60 has 5 600HP Merc's standard and I believe you can order it with 6 if you're feeling extra spendy.

The boat in question has five 450 hp engines (2,250 hp total). My boat is in the boathouse just around the corner so I now see it every time I go out. It is a beautiful boat!
One thing my wife noticed is that when it went out of the Lakeport Landing Marina basin, it barely had enough clearance to pass through the trestle. I wasn't paying attention, but my wife noticed, and said there was less than a foot on either side! My guess is that it is 45' long. |
