Between the Alton baseball/softball fields and the existing Alton Power Dam, in the woods, there is an abandoned brick structure with the windows and entry closed off by iron bars. Despite the padlock, it looks like people have been in there.
Does anyone know what this structure is/was? Thanks. |

Geez how big/deep is that hole? Looks like an accident waiting to happen when someone falls in.
