Old Anchor !
Had some family up to the island this weekend. My cousin DJ brought his tanks and did some diving. Thought I would share a picture of his find. A pretty old anchor. We have placed it right by our Navy flag, as my mom has two grandsons in the Navy, to which we are super proud ⚓️

Anchor
That's so cool. Perfect beside the USN flag. Thank them both for serving our country.

Wow nice find. Clean it up some more an hang it somewhere.
I estimate it was made about 1900. |

Diver1111 has a good idea. The owners of the cabin we rent in West Alton is displaying an old anchor on the property near the dock. I don't speak directly with the them so I don't know where they got it from but it looks great propped up against the rustic tree stump.
