RTE 93 Exit 21?
Ok
So I am driving up to exit 23 to get to my Home away from Home in Meredith and I notice for the first time that there is no Exit 21. It has only taken me oh 25 years to notice this but out of curiosity does anyone know why |

Yep, you are correct, I have wondered that many times...maybe an exit was planned at one time?

exit 21
I've been told that Gunstock has a trademark on "Exit21" which would have required the Feds to pay a royalty to the county, and they were unwilling.

What concerns me is it took you 25 years to figure out there is no exit 21...should you still be driving?!?!

I had been told many years back that it was planned and designed but there were native land rights involved and thus it was never built.

I have to admit that I have probably driven up 93 in that area over 100 times, and had never even noticed that there is no exit 21. I guess I am just focused on driving, as I typically am heading quite a bit further north, so at that point, exit numbers don’t really matter to me.

Same boat as chip
I've driven past there thousands of times over 40 years to the lake or the skihouse and never knew till now there was no exit 21.I never got off e-22 so I guess that's why.

Exit 21 Mystery
When I-93 was built back in the '60's we would tell the tourists to get off at Exit 21. When they can't find Exit 21 they will continue on up the highway or go home.

In the 70's
I 93 will stop at Plymouth. The winter just before they open the highway to exit 32. I use to scream up the highway with the snow machine! It was quite the trip. My belt would blow before reaching the end.

I remember when there was no I-93 or any other Interstate road. Routs 3 and 28 were the main way to the lake.
