Another Lake
Skiing on Winni on the weekends can be treacherous with all the boats and wave action. 6:30 am is the best time almost anywhere.
Look on a chart and find a cove..... watch for rocks and depths.

Waterskiing
Early mornings are the best time, like sunrise early. Depending where you are on the lake find a cove or behind/between islands.

You could try Winter Harbor. It usually has fairly calm water.

Thanks for the suggestions, my better half got a kick out of the sunrise suggestions. (Pack and leave the house by 5:00AM, that'll happen)

The Basin works good, all summer. Northwest of Winter Harbor.
Hope this helps. Love, T.
